background
My Uncle is wanting to get away from Windows, and decided on Ubuntu.
Got it installed and working, no problem.
Figuring out how to get it to do what he wants, so far,so good.
But we can't get the printer to install. Deal breaker.
So I went Googling and played some LinkTag, and found this on the Brother site:

UnGz'ed it, and after putting copies of the program and the driver (both .rpm and .deb) in the Home, Desktop, and Download folders, I finally got it to run. But it keeps saying there is an error understanding the driver file.
I'm assuming there is something about the way I am typing it that is the problem.
It says to run:
bash linux-brprinter-installer-1.0.4-1 Brother machine name
The command I am running:
Install Printer On Ubuntu
su
bash linux-brprinter-installer-1.0.4-1 mfcj835dwcupswrapper-3.0.0-1.i386.deb
So what am I being brain dead about?
