USB Transfer Utility

When you plug the G9 into a USB port on your PC, this Screen pops up. If you have already installedZoomBrowser and the EOS Utility programs that are on the included CD, you'll get the choice to openCanon CamerWindow, Canon EOS Utility, etc.

The first time you startup CameraWindow DC, this screen is displayed. Here you can choose to use thecontrols and menu on the camera, automatically transfer untransferred images, or operate using thiscomputer. You can also choose not to have this Startup Screen pop up, buy checking the box at the bottom.

Here you can see CameraWindow DC. It consists of two windows. The one on the left used to scrollthrough images that are saved on the camera, and along the bottom are options to mark all image fortransfer or transfer untransferred images only.

The window on the right shows a much larger thumbnail of each image. Controls on the top allow you toswitch to full screen display, arrange windows, adjust display/save options (thumbnail size, savefolder), adjust camera settings (shown below), or open images that are saved on the PC. Along the bottomare options for the Help menu, transfer images from the camera to your PC, scroll through images (leftand right), print, and close.

Image Download is simple.
