Generic TouchPad driver downloads are here but we recommend you use OEM specific drivers. This is also the Synaptics repository for white papers and videos. One problem with these instructions for Method 2, step 7, is that there isn't a keyboard or touchpad driver for the Z570 for Windows 10 on the Lenovo website.

As per your quesry there are multiple issues that you are facing:

1. Touchpad is unresponsive- Epson tm u200 printer manual.

Method 1: Run hardware and Device troubleshooter

  1. Click on the Start button, and type “Troubleshooting” on the search bar.
  2. Click on troubleshooting, then click on “Hardware and sound”.
  3. Under Hardware and sound, click on “hardware and devices”.
  4. A pop-up will appear, click on the “Next” button and your hardware troubleshooting will start.

Method 2: un-installing and Installing Driver.

  1. Click on the Start button, and type “Device Manager” on the search bar.
  2. Open Device Manager, expand “Human Interface Devices”.
  3. Find and double-click graphic adapterfrom the left panel to uninstall.
  4. Right-click the device, and click Uninstall.
  5. Windows will prompt you to confirm the device’s removal. Click OK to remove the driver.
  6. After the uninstallation is complete, reboot your computer.
  7. After you have successfully uninstalled the driver, please go to the computer manufacturer’s website, download the Windows 10 Display driver for your computer and check

2. Keyboard- I suggest that you follow the steps provided above, but instead locate keyboard and un-install and reinstall driver.

3. For the rest of the issue, I suggest that you perform an SFC scan and check if there are any System Corruption File. Follow link below to perform sfc.

Note: Steps mentioned for Windows 8/8.1, will work fine with Windows 10.

One problem with these instructions for Method 2, step 7, is that there isn't a keyboard or touchpad driver for the Z570 for Windows 10 on the Lenovo website. I don't think Lenovo is supporting Win 10 for this computer.

I suspect the problems are caused by an update. It is hard to tell which update is causing the issue. When Win 10 was first installed I had no problems with the keyboard and touchpad. I suspect it is the Synpatics' drivers being updated that is causing the problem.

One of the issues I have with Windows 10 is that we no longer have control over the Windows Updates, and it is difficult to stop an update from being installed that wrecks your computer.

I suggest you to try uninstall driver and installing old driver in compatibility mode. Compatibility mode runs the program using settings from a previous version of Windows. Follow these steps to install the drivers in compatibility mode and check if that helps.

  • Download the touchpad or Synaptic Touch pad drivers from the manufacturer’s website.

  • Right-click on the driver setup file and click on ‘Properties’.

  • Click on the ‘Compatibility’ tab and check the box ‘Run this program in compatibility mode for’ and select Windows 8/8.1 operating system from the drop down menu and proceed with the installation. Once this is done, restart the computer and check if the issue persists.
